Applicants for Registration are required to complete the Registration Application form, lodged with the appropriate fee.
All applicants will be required to make a declaration of the skills they have and must hold evidence of that competence to produce to an auditor on request.
Applicants that submit documentation in support of their skills claim automatically become eligible for evaluation for the higher level Standard Registration, ie. if you have skills recognised through formal training or other assessment, submit supporting documentation and you will be assessed for a higher level qualification. This is available at no extra fee.
Applications are lodged with the ACRS at any of its Shopfronts or by post or email at the
Administration Centre at P O Box 1106, Burwood North NSW 2134.
Applications can be made online from here. Supporting documentation and payment must then be posted to the above address.
Applications made over the counter can be processed immediately.
On receipt of the appropriate fees a Provisional Registration in the basic category can be issued immediately. Formal registration at will follow up within 30 days.
Applications for Standard Registration cannot be assessed over the counter but applications with all necessary documentation to allow the proper evaluation will be processed and finalised within 30 days.
