About ACRS: ACRS provides the lowest cost registration service, but is still proud to offer regular updates to all members offering information on the latest cabling news, current industry issues and training information, Importantly, ACRS is also able to offer a shop front facility in almost every state, allowing cablers a convenient, and hassle free option for registration on top of the email, fax and postal registration service offered. Australian Cabler Registration Service (ACRS) was formed to provide registration services for anyone undertaking communications cabling work. ACRS is accredited by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), and is affiliated with the National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA), which represents electrical and communications contractors, being the majority of employers of cablers in the electrotechnology sector. Current News: NBN NECA and ACRS have been working colsely with the Government, NBN Co, Comms Alliance and ACMA as the huge project that is the National Broadband Network continues to gather momentum. As soon as there is confirmed information which would be useful for cablers we will be sure to publish it on this website. For now, we recommend that cablers ensure their registration is up to date and read the officially published information only, including the NBN End Users Handbook, prepared with input from induistry by the Comms Alliance.
